Did you Know:

- In colder climates, such as ours, water within the insulation can freeze and expand. This exerts pressure on the roof materials and the metal deck, which worsens existing damage.
- Standing water or excessive moisture can speed up the degradation of the protective coatings on the metal deck.
- When insulation becomes wet, it obviously becomes heavier. This in turn, increases the load on the metal deck, which can lead to structural stress.
- Over time, rust can weaken the structural integrity of the deck, increasing the risk of collapse under snow or ice accumulation.
